A Christmas Wish
‘Twas the month before December,
And all round the planet,
It was hard to sell anything
That was built up on granite!
The plan was to sell the cabin real quick,
But the clock was a ‘humming, tick, tick, tick, tick!
A third Mouse Classic went off with a blast,
But the year was ending, it was going down fast!
When what to our wonder REALTOR® did appear,
Not one, but two, surprise offers so dear.
With a winter so icy, so snowy, so cold-
Yet before you knew it, the cabin was sold!
And, then, in a twinking we rented a “U-Haul,”
Now my poor little house is nothing but full!
Our little cabin – built from the heart,
The Selling of it gives us a new start.
Bright visions of new dreams are going to my head,
But I know now I have nothing to dread.
So hear us exclaim in this winter of white (bah humbug!),
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
Also, a happy New Year and God bless us, each and every one!
All the best to you and yours!
